Service Description
This 6-week course is for beginners in ceramics and those who love handbuilding with clay. In this course I will teach you how to work with handbuilding techniques and we will practice with throwing on the wheel. With handbuilding techniques you can make all kinds of things, simple pieces like cups and bowls, but also more bigger pieces like a serving plate or a tall vase. On the wheel we will practice making a perfect cup. During the classes we will split up the group and one half will throw on the wheel while the other half is handbuilding. Once the pieces are glazed and fired, they are food safe and dishwasher proof. When the work is finished I will arrange a pick up day.
